Replacement
Air conditioners are rated by Seasonal Energy Efficiency
Ratio (SEER) numbers. The higher the SEER rating on a unit,
the more efficient the system is. Systems installed 5 – 10
years ago, might operate at a 6.0-7.0 rating, while today’s
generation of heating and air conditioning offer energy SEER
ratings up to 18, the highest in the industry. The federal
government has mandated that beginning in January 2006, all
new systems must have a rating of at least 13 SEER. It may
cost you up to 40% more to operate an older system with a
low SEER rating, even if the unit has been trouble free.

Energy Savings Agreement (ESA)
Benson’s Energy Savings Agreements could reduce your
utility bills and add years of worry-free operation of our
home’s heating and air system. We encourage our customers
to sign up for an Energy Savings Agreement because regular
maintenance assures you of the following:

- Comfort, safety, and lower
utility bills
- Peace of mind knowing your system is working
even when the season changes
A one-year Energy Savings Agreement for one system includes
two visits per year, 15% discount on any needed repairs and
preferential treatment in response to service calls.

can pay by check or credit card and we’ll enroll you
in the program and call you to schedule our first tune-up
